Community Build Project

Building More Than Lawns

From time to time, Community Mow takes on special projects to help neighbors in practical ways. This is one of those projects.

Current Community Build Project

Handmade Farmhouse Table

A handmade farmhouse table built from solid lumber by Community Mow volunteers. It seats a full family, is finished for durability, and is designed to be used and appreciated for years to come.

This is not a raffle, giveaway, sweepstakes, or contest. We review each nomination individually and select a recipient based on their situation and need. If you know someone who could genuinely use this, their story is what matters most.

Our Reason

Why We Built It

Community Mow was created to help neighbors facing difficult circumstances. While we primarily provide free lawn care, sometimes we have opportunities to help in other ways. The Community Build Project allows us to create and donate practical items that can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

The Story Behind It

How This Project Started

This project started with a simple idea: build something useful and give it to someone who could genuinely benefit from it.

Community Mow was founded on the belief that small acts of kindness can make a real difference. While we are best known for providing free lawn care, we also recognize that people sometimes need help in other practical ways.

The handmade farmhouse table featured here became the first Community Build Project. Our goal is simple — place it in the home of someone who could use it and allow it to become part of everyday life, family gatherings, meals, and memories for years to come.
